Youth Eco-Champions Program Launches in 5 Panchayats

We are proud to launch the Youth Eco-Champions Program in 5 Panchayats across Vaishali and Nalanda, training young people as environmental ambassadors.
The Eco-Champions Program is designed to put rural youth at the centre of village-level environmental action. Over a six-week curriculum, participants learn waste segregation, composting, water-body cleanups, sapling care, and door-to-door community engagement. The first cohort of 42 young people graduated in early 2024, and several have already organised their own cleanup drives — with one champion mobilising 50 households in his Vaishali panchayat. Our goal: a trained Eco-Champion in every panchayat we operate in by 2026.
