About MAYA Vasudha

A young Bihar-based NGO at the intersection of ecology and community development.

Introduction

Who We Are

MAYA SAMAJIK UTTHAN EVAM PARAMARSH SANSTHAN is a registered non-profit organisation based in Patna, Bihar, working at the intersection of ecology and community development. Since our registration in June 2023, we have been planting native trees, restoring eroded farmland, and training rural youth as Eco-Champions.

We are not a large organisation — and that is intentional. We are deeply rooted in 6 districts of Bihar, where we work shoulder-to-shoulder with panchayats, farmers, and schoolchildren. Our work is slow, deliberate, and community-led.

Recognition

Awards & Recognition

We are a young organisation. Our awards section will grow as our work in Bihar's villages is recognised. For now, we measure success in saplings, hectares, and the voices of the communities we serve.
